Personality--Strangers: He's very friendly and nice, and believes that there's always some good to be found in everyone, no matter how they may seem on the outside.
Personality--Friends/Family: They find him more annoying than anyone should ever be, but they put up with him because he's fun, useful, and fiercely loyal... and they love him despite his flaws.
Personality--Under Stress: He sulks, refusing to eat and bathe, staying in his room. Or, if he's involed with someone at the time, he'll cling to them and bug them until they yell at him or give in and let him pout.

Hair Style/Color: Bright red, which he wears in a long-ish braid on his right side. He has bangs that hang to his chin, which he usually keeps out of the way with hairclips.

.::Biography::.

Family: His father, Htill, is deceased, having suffered a stroke many years ago. His mother, Kari (62), lives on Lake Ristel with his younger sister, Cymi (22). He has a brother, Tymin (seven years older than Soryn), whom nobody has seen for 15 years.
Friends: He likes to call everyone his friend, though, as friendly and amiable as he is, he doesn't have anyone he'd count as his true friend.
Background History: Soryn's father was never the nurturing type, so Soryn mostly looked up to his mother as a child. His father loved him, of course, but Soryn didn't feel he was treated as a son should be. It seemed that Tymin was following their father's path, generally ignoring Soryn. Until Cymi was born, Soryn spent a lot of time outside, playing by himself. He and Cymi became fast friends, and they played together for much of his childhood, even though he was 6 years older than she was. He went to school and learned everything with ease, though he got into trouble a lot for his behavior, trying to impress the other schoolchildren with unsavory jokes and various tricks. It was at school that he met Trist. Trist refused to laugh at Soryn's jokes, which naturally attracted him to the boy. That was the beginning of their friendship and relationship. Soryn worked at various places in-town during his teen years, and after many years or hard work and saving, he was finally able to buy his own tiny shop at the age of 25, which he now runs as a pawn and loan shop.
Treasured Memories: Most anything involving Trist or Cymi from his childhood.
Worst Memories: The day he knew he'd never be able to fully call Trist his own, the day that his father died (the way his mother and sister cried broke his heart).

Relics of the Past: The harmonica he carries was given to him by Trist, he counts it first among his precious posessions.
