Jacob Cogar was a key to snapping Tacoma's 27-game winning streak
DEVILS SNAP TACOMA STREAK
The Lower Columbia baseball team snapped Tacoma's 27-game win streak on Saturday, before rain thwarted the rest of the weekend.
Saturday the Devils scored three runs in the top of the 9
th inning to defeat the red hot Titans. The big hit in the 9
th inning uprising was a two-run double by
Tanner Marty.
Makaio Mobbs also had two hits and an RBI in the victory.
Jacob Cogar got the win after providing 4 2/3 innings of two-hit relief.
The second game of the double header was halted due to rain with Tacoma leading 2-0 in the top of the 5
th inning. The game will be resumed Tuesday May 6th at Tacoma. The game with be picked up at 4 pm. The Devils have a runner on first with no outs.
Sophomore Night is Friday May 9th as the Grays Habor Chokers are here for a 5 pm double header. Seven Red Devil sophomores will be honored prior to the first game.
