The Lower Columbia College Red Devils rallied from a 12 point deficit with just over 5 minutes remaining and beat the Grays Harbor Chokers 81-79 Tuesday May 4^th in Aberdeen.
 
Sherman Royal III hit a power layup with three seconds left to win it.  The freshman from Lake Worth, Florida sealed his man and then took it up strong to cap off an great comeback.
 
Royal ended up with 12 points, three rebounds and three assists.
 
Taylor Pomeroy had another big night with 29 points.  Pomeroy hit 4 of 7 three-pointers.
 
The Devils stayed in the game by committing just eight turnovers and shooting 50% from the floor.
 
But with the game slipping away, point guard Ky-mani Pollard pushed the ball up the floor and changed the tempo fueling the never-say-die comeback.
 
Rarey Sommer had 11 points and Cole Hardy hit a big shot down the stretch, part of his nine  points.
 
Anthony Saunders and Logan Walker had 19 points each to lead Grays Harbor.
 
The Devils go to 4-1 on the season. The next game is Friday May 7^th at Tacoma. Game time is 7:30 pm.
