Sonny Dorhofer pitched LCC to a must win victory at Chemeketa
DEVILS SPLIT AT CHEMEKETA, STILL IN PLAYOFF HUNT
The LCC softball team split a pair of games at Chemeketa Friday afternoon May 2
nd.
Julia Breidt pitched great in the opener, allowing just a solo homer in the 5
th inning as the Storm won the game 1-0.
LCC's offense was much better in the second game as
Haley Hibbs had three hits and three RBI to lead the Devils to a 6-1 victory.
Sonny Dorhofer continued her resurgence with a complete game victory.
With the split, the Devils remain one game behind Chemeketa with four games left in the regular season. The Devils will host Clackamas on Sophomore Day, Tuesday May 6
th at Tam O'Shanter Park. The double header begins at 3 pm. The Devils then close out the regular season with a twin bill at Southwestern Oregon Saturday May 10
th.
