One bad inning kept the LCC softball team from taking a road sweep on Saturday March 3rd.
Highline plated six unearned runs in the 4th inning after two batters were retired and they held on to beat Lower Columbia 8-7 in the first of two. The Devils got within one run and had the bases loaded before the T-Birds got the final out for the victory.
LCC came back and jumped out to a 6-0 lead and went on to beat the Thunderbirds 8-3 in the second game.
Christine Robbins got the victory and hit the first homer of the season, a two run shot.
In the first game,
Skylar Hunter had two hits and three RBI's.Â
Landree Miethe and Robbins provided RBI hits in the big 7th inning rally that fell short.
In the LCC win,

Cheyann Bartlett,
